Just got Airport '75 (along with Airport '77 and Concorde on blu ray) from Amazon France on region free blu ray. The movie has never looked so clear and colorful.
Glad to have found my favorite (next to Poseidon Adventure) disaster movie on blu ray!!

I agree---the blu ray looks great! It's weird that this blu ray was never officially released in the U.S.
Or maybe it was and I just missed it when it first came out. Oh well, Vive la Amazon France!
I found out how to make this purchase on Amazon France. For anyone else who may wish to buy this you must use Google Chrome as your browser, Mozilla Fire Fox would not translate. You right click with your mouse on any page and then scroll down to Translate. I made the purchase for 17.99 Euros + 8.50 Euros for delivery which brought my total to $31.13 US Dollars. There was a cheaper seller for $6 less but they would not ship to my address. It is pricey for a Blu Ray but every now and then you have to splurge to get what you want.
shareYes indeed, the Blu Ray looks terrific on Airport 75. I just watched it last night after ordering it from Amazon France. It did take me a few minutes to find out how to switch off the French dubbing voices because the menu is in French. Once I was able to switch to the original English soundtrack it was as good quality as any Blu Ray I purchased from any American distributor. Thanks to your post about the Blu Ray I am grateful.
