I have the 1941 serial on DVD and it is a great watch indeed! Speaking of the serial Frank Coughlin Jr. (Billy Batson) appeared in a cameo in the episode 'The Braggart' as a zoo employee who gives Billy & Mentor a lift in his cart to another part of the zoo.
