KOLCHAK REFERENCE BOOK(S)?

There seems to be quite an array of Kolchak books. But, aside from tales of the macabre, are there any real Kolchak reference books??? I don't think so! I agree that one season may not be sufficient to warrant such a publication, but it would be nice.đź‘€ What was Darren like on the set?? Did Richard Kiel have any problems in the sewer with Spanish moss all over him?? These are the questions we need answered!

Currently there are TWO companion books by Mark Dawidziak, "Night Stalking A 20th Anniversary companion" and the "The Night Stalker: A 25th Anniversary Tribute". The latter appears to be a heavily revised and updated version of Night Stalking. Very great stuff for Kolchak enthusiasts! đź‘ą

I own both of Dawidziak's books. They're worth tracking down. I was lucky enough to buy them when they were originally published.

I own both books as well. Also got them when they first came out.

Mark just sent me autographed book plates for my copies.

There's also a script book (Richard Matheson's Kolchak Scripts ISBN: 1887368647) out there but it's cost prohibitive for most people.

No thank you. Don’t feel like dishing out a $1000.00 + for a paperback, thank you very much. Are these people serious? If you’re reading this & you’re looking for this.....DON’T! Not worth your time & trouble. Why isn’t there a Kindle edition of this book? Truly makes one wonder.

reply

You don't have to pay $1000. There are reasonable priced copies out there.

reply

Reasonable is in the eye of the beholder... This is likely to only be affordable if there is an ebook--and there won't be.

I think Mark Dawidziak is releasing a new edition of his reference book this year for the 50th Anniversary.
