It is hard for many of us Baby boomers to see our old beaters now being sought after classics.
Even my old Buick GS 4 Speed is as much a classic as my '62 Corvette. Both long gone.
I used to watch this show with several of my friends when it was first aired.
Now I like watching old movies and TV shows simply because you get to see those old classics in everyday use. When they make a movie or TV show these days that depict that era the restored cars they use look like they'd just come off the dealers showroom floor. It looks good on film but it wasn't reality.
