Saw two episodes of this on Netflix and ...

It's hilariously cheesy. I laughed a lot but I think I'll move on to something a little less ludicrous now.

I thought you'd loved ludicrous. After all look at that name you've got. And please don't tell me that name is on your birth certificate.
On a serious note, it's true if you weren't around when this 1st aired you can't get into the camp.
Now on a side note, this show was the basis of X-Files

Spenser with an "S", like the poet.

The X Files connection is the reason I watched it.

And as it so happens that name IS on my birth certificate. My surname is kj;lsdkeig;lnm. The semicolons are silent.

do you have the names of the actresses who are in the first episode?

reply

You know this is imdb, right?

reply

I actually think they did pretty well with this series, considering the state of special effects tech in the early 1980's. They were entertaining and fun to watch. I loved them and have the CD set at home.

reply

i also loved ther series. i have the dvd as well.

reply

Yes, especially the early episodes.

I'd heard at the time this was a prohibitively expensive series to maintain.

It was a throwback. Him in those sear sucker suits. And his voice overs sealed the deal.

I love it!

You know, people forget that Kolchak: The Night Stalker inspired a young Chris Carter, who went on to create the X-Files.
