Why isn't that cultural appropriation?

On the other hand, the composers were Jews. Wokes ( like their mirror images - racists) don't consider Jews white.

Because the word (and concept) didn't exist in the 1970's.

Plus it's a really good song.

Elvis is accused of cultural appropriation because he recorded Hound Dog a year or so after a black singer; that was the 50's.

Coincidently, Hound Dog was written by two Jews using black musical tropes.

Music is generally given a wider birth, since multiple cultures can influence any song.

"Cultural appropriation" is usually costume themed.
