When somebody criticises a classic, my first question is always for them to name their top five movies.

Pipes: Your rejoinder to such ignorance is brilliant, and I'll venture that CHINATOWN and CASABLANCA are almost never in their Top 5.

Fancier than my top five, I'll admit. But just because you find the movie "*beep*ing depressing", why does that make it awful? It's okay for a comedy to make us laugh, but it's not okay for a horror film to make us depressed?

Actually, after watching it a couple more times, I've come to find it's not too bad.

If you think this is bad, definitely don't watch the 2006 version. You've been warned. This one actually wasn't bad.
