Yes, they married. Should you watch it again, you'll notice she's wearing a wedding ring when they're in CA.
shareIn the montage after the big fight in her apartment, katy is seen unpacking a wedding cake topper figurine.

I'm the unsilent majority, Bigmouth!
Thank you for posting this because its always been confusing to me and I"ve tried watching several times.
Granted, I've been trying to watch this while chasing after a toddler but I wondered the same thing. Since you never see an engagement or wedding scene, I missed it completely.
Also, I kept wondering what happened to their child. I saw her tell him she's preggers but never see a pregnancy or birth so I assumed she lost it as some point.
Guess I missed that part too. Would be nice if they included just a few more visuals.
Kinda weird that they don't show the child ever. Or did I miss that too???!
Lilcharmer, there was no wedding scene, but like a previous user pointed out, Katie unpacks a wedding cake topper when you see her and Hubbell move into their home in Malibu.
Katie's pregnancy is shown in various scenes after she tells Hubbell she's pregnant, such as the last movie screening when Katie says, "You didn't have to go back to Beekman Place, did you?" and in the montage immediately following that scene, where she's sitting on their porch smoking a cig and drinking, and later she's laying in her bed. After that scene, Katie and Hubbell talk about how they used to be over dinner: "Wouldn't it be lovely if we were old? We'd have survived all this. Everything would be uncomplicated and easy, the way it was when we were young." Hubbell says, "Katie, it was never uncomplicated." In that scene, Katie then asks him to stay with her until the baby is born. He agrees, and the movie cuts to her resting in her hospital room after Rachel is born. The baby is never shown, but she is there. At the end of the movie, Hubbell asks about her when he sees Katie on the street, and Katie says "She is just beautiful. You would be so proud of her, Hubbell."
I hope that helps. I love this movie. :)
