The cast line-up says she played a character named Pony Dunbar. I tried looking for her in the movie - was she JJ's college sweetheart?

No, Pony was a friend of Katie's. In the scene following Hubbell's departure from Katie's apartment where he stayed the first night, Katie is seen handing out flyers for the American-Soviet Benefit with another woman. She says "Oh, Jesus, I'm late for the OWI. Here. See you later, Pony." She hands her flyers to Sally Kirkland, Pony. :)

Hi again! Watching the movie again, and I'm sure Sally Kirkland is also in the scene following the one I mentioned to you earlier. Pony and Katie are at the CVHQ discussing Hubbell and how he might have misplaced Katie's number. Pony says "You've only got 11 jobs." Cheers!

At first, I didn't recognize her as a brunette, and yes, I noticed her in that other scene too - thanks!
