A Crying shame about the cuts. FOX dropped the ball..BIG TIME

While putting this DVD in for my first ever experience of VAULT OF HORROR (up until the time I had only seen TALES FROM THE CRYPT), I started to drift off to sleep when I was startled awake by constant shifts in music cues and freeze frame shots missing the gore. I never saw this movie until that time and I could still tell it was censored beyond all belief. The only time I could think of something like this happening was when ARTISAN (the near bottom barrel of DVD releases...because every transfer of their catalog titles look like vhs dubs) released PROM NIGHT III/PROM NIGHT IV and part 3 was the tv edited version. What a joke, FOX. Why'd you even waste our time? I'd have rather waited another year or two for A *DECENT* print of VAULT, THEN TO SEE THIS CUT CRAP. Better yet, why don't we all just get the VIPCO release (even though it pan and scan) and say goodbye to Fox for good. Because to me, It seems like they could give a S(it about the transfer...just as long as they make their profit at the end of the day.
