Confused and got the wrong film.

This was on the other night. The story with Terry Thomas and Glynis Johns, I was convinced was going to end with her cutting him into bits and neatly wrapping them in brown paper and string and putting them in a freezer, and then they come to life and go after her.
It didn't end that way of course, so which film was I confusing it with?

"Asylum"m another great flick. Check it out here -

That site has some pretty sweet other anthology flicks to check out, including the uncut version of this film.

Enjoy

Ahh Asylum, of course, thanks.
See there I was confusing Sylvia Sims and Glynis Johns.

This was listed on FOX movie Ch the other day BUT they had THE FURY and not this feature. What a letdown.

Ironically both Asylum and Vault of Horror were produced by Amicus, so it's a little ironic you confused one Amicus horror film for another

Sometimes I impress myself! haha.

I thought your description sounded a lot like "Frozen Fear", by Robert Bloch. Turns out that the segment you described from "Asylum" is also called Frozen Fear. I wonder if Bloch actually got any credit for it...

Also, a worthy and cool point to make is that EC used some of Bloch's stories without his permission as comics back in the 50's. Kinda cool that Amicus went on to make the Vault of Horror and Tales from the Crypt films, as they were originally EC's too.

Kinda cool how everything ties in, huh? :)
