Was He not offered a Role or did he pass on this?

Did he want to be, or did they want him too? He was in TALES, guess neither side say the point for the sequel.

He was in more than just the Tales From The Crypt Amicus anthology (you probably only know of that one). He was also in Dr. Terror's House of Horror (1965), Torture Garden (1967), The House That Dripped Blood (1971), Asylum (1972), Tales From The Crypt (1972) and From Beyond The Grave (1974), as well as The Uncanny (1977), not including all his other Amicus and Hammer productions.

According to the Trivia page:
"Filmed August-September 1972. The only Amicus anthology in which Peter Cushing does not appear, as he was still shooting another Amicus, "--And Now the Screaming Starts!" which began July 17."
