Scream Factory will be releasing an uncut Blu-ray double-feature of TALES FROM THE CRYPT and THE VAULT OF HORROR. They are promised to be uncut, and are ticketed for the fall of 2014.

According to Amazon.com, the official release date is December 2, 2014. And yes, the Blu-ray will feature the uncut version of VoH.

I rarely double dip, but I'm going to make an exception in this case because I love these films. I bought the DVD back in 2007 when it was first released and was severely disappointed that the version of VoH contained on the DVD was the "cut" version. I can't wait to see Tom Baker's deranged expression and quasi-jewfro in full 1080p.
Yes, Scream Factory has licensed a transfer from the BCI restoration of the uncut VAULT OF HORROR, which BCI did about five years ago.
shareThe Blu-Ray looks great and the scene with the wine tap is a whole lot different than I remember on the DVD. I hadn't watched the film for at least 5 years but I still remembered most of it which shows how great the film is because usually I forget movies I've seen if I've gone a year without watching them.
