I saw these films as a young child and again as a teen. I was saved after seeing these films. I am very sorry for people who feel this movie is bad or that it has been shoved down their throats. They are great soal winning tools. There are alot of people who can say that they were saved due to these films. I think these are great films and my children now want to see them. I have a son 19 yrs old who has ask me to find where he can see them. He loves the sci-fi films. He has also preached several times in our church on youth sunday. He wants to see them and show them to his youth group. He is concerned about other. This is a GREAT FILM.

For the sake of all goodness, advise your son NOT to show these horrible movies to the youth group. These films have totally ruined my life and I am not exaggerating. I grew up in a pentecostal church and my Dad used to have quite a thing about End Times. I saw "Thief" and "Thunder" at a friends house when I was 7 and I'm still haunted. No matter where I'm at with God, these films scare the s**t out of me. I have a chronic fear of the Rapture and I can't tell you all the insane ways this has affected me. The words "mark of the beast" make me want to run away and vomit.

Anyone who shows these films to children ought to be strung up for child abuse because that's exactly what it is imo. But oh-ho, the church gets away with so many things in the name of soul-winning and Godly instruction. And it makes me FURIOUS.

If you are a Christian, there is no need to FEAR the rapture, but look forward to it and tell everyone you know so that they don't get left behind. The movies aren't awesome, and the acting stinks, but it's good stuff.

Let yr son see these films - maybe he'll enjoy Plan 9 From Outer Space, too - another example of movies so bad they are unintentionally hilarious. If you needed a low budgeted, badly acted movie to SAVE you - then, brother, you are a push-over. Just because the movie might have themes or "messages' you agree with doesnt mean the film is good. It is awful - awfulicious!!!! Never have so many examples of self-righteousness and bad teeth come together onscreen at the same time!

Touch, try and have your son preach about the love of Jesus and how having him in your life can help people get through the bad times as well as the good. Have him preach about how God so loved the worls that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

Touch, These great movies I actualy saw as a 4 pack on Amazon. Please do not listen to the Haters, while yea we are to teach on the lovenof CHRIST we are also to know what happens to those who have not accepted HIM. Otherwise that message would not be featured in the Bible (Both old and New Testament) as it is. GOD Bless your son.

Hear hear! It's the Haters that make me furious...but then again the Bible does say that Christians will be most unpopular during the end times.

Still makes me angry and hurt, though. I can't help it.

70% of Americans are Christians it's the largest religion of the world. Hardly "unpopular."

Thank you KJVJoshua2415. I was looking for this series online this morning after hearing about the recent effects of the government shut-down where they are now taking away food from poor/struggling families who receive food stamps. I remember a lot about these movies and have used the information I received from them as a type of 'watch guide", (when you see these things begin to happen, the end is near). I have seen a lot of christian biblical teaching come to pass through history, the predictions of Nostradamus, and simply applying biblical principles. Although the movies were poorly made and acted, the point is to make ppl aware that there is a rapture/heaven to look forward to and a hell to fear and everyone has a decision to make according to their faith while they are living. I have lead a normal, happy life after watching these movies because of my understanding that time is short, so be good to ppl, love them, appreciate everything God has given, and live in hopes that you have not lived your life in fear, but in love.
