I'd love to see this come out on DVD...
I still remember seeing it as a kid and loving it. Never realized until much later that Walter Hill wrote the script.

sharei had an original vhs copy a while ago, i actually tossed it because the tape was so worn out (it was REALLY worn out) i just told myself i'd get another someday, now it's out of print, impossible to find, to get a new copy it'd cost about $25 from a private seller on amazon. i'd pay through the nose for a DVD.
shareThe German version is a region 2 DVD, in English with German subtitles. Well worth it to get it, if you've got a player that can run it.

Do you happen to know if the subtitles can be removed easily by the DVD's remote say?
