If there's a remake, Ebert should play the critic whose "doggy woggies" are baked into a pie by Lionheart, "Titus Andronicus" style! :D

You know...I don't really like remakes...I don't really approve of remakes...but if this one were to be made, I'd like to see Bruce Campbell in the Lionhart role. I'd love to see him spurting shakespear as he plunges a spear deep into Harry Knowles chest! Anyone else agree?

There was the stage play of this recently which had Diana Rigg's daughter play her part instead.

Roger Ebert actually liked the film so you never know if he'll do it. LOL

You know what I think would be a good touch in a remake? After Lionheart dies at the end Devlin can say, "Goodnight sweet prince, and a flight of angels send thee to thy rest." Just thought that would be appropriate.

Oh, and I dig the idea of Campbell as Lionheart. And Knowles getting killed.
