Which Title Of This Movie Do You Prefer?

THEATRE OF BLOOD (TOB)

or

MUCH ADO ABOUT MURDER (MAAM)

I prefer MAAM, it was the original title but was changed to TOB before being released. It was probably because of the 1970's mentality and horror fad of the day.

MAAM harkens to the SHAKESPEAREAN roots more than TOB does.

I think using the title MAAM also keeps it out of the horror genre and puts it more in the thriller genre. Thrillers are more mainstream and garner a wider audience. Many people have avoided TOB because of the horor designation and said title. As such, it has failed to get the respect it truly deserves.
