The Dinner Sequence

I'm just wondering as to wether or not anybody has any idea s to what they used for the filling in the pie?I seriously doubt,(and would hope)that they didn't butcher 2 rather expensive pedigree toy poodles.
Also, would they have used a stop-action process for this scene?

I remember watching this scene as a child...made me feel sick!

I've got the pleasure of watching the film right now as its being shown on TV!!!

Only in the 70s could Diana Rigg in a false beard and aviators pass for a man.
Superb.

The idea of a poodle pie topped off with dual poodle heads - simply delectable. No doubt it would have been considered nouveau cuisine at the time. What surprises me is how quickly the team (including a number of alcoholic vagrants) managed to get in the house, off the dogs and bake what appeared to be two very good looking pies.

You're sick. The whole sequence was totally gross, and impermissibly disgusting.

It's an errant adverb attack!

oh, yes..they really DID kill those two poodles because they knew it would upset schweinhundt1967..no other reason...and they did kill off all the actors in real life too...happens all the time

reply

they used terriers.

The only difference between me and a madman is that I'm not a man.

What grossed me out was when the critic pulls a hair from the pie and then he realizes that he is eating his own dogs.
