Hendry's Devlin,at first, seems sorry for Lionheart's demise, then he turns into a a-hole as bad as the others. You can notice the police inspector looking at Devlin after his speech about Lionheart's exit. The Inspector looks at him as a real jerk.I know that Lionheart killed the other critics, but they were hardly close friends and their actions may suggest some truth to Lionheart's belief that they deserved to be punished. Also,Devlin suggests that his reviews against Lionheart were to make try other roles to bring him into the present.Yet,Lionheart's roles as a French chef, gay English hairdresser, and a Swedish masseur would certainly have been proof of his range.
