I absolutely love when Vincent Price hams it up (like in the Black Cat segment of Tales Of Terror). I just saw this movie for the first time and when I saw Vincent Price as the hairdresser I was absolutely amazed at how totally over the top he was in this scene. All I can say is wow!

shareI am a huge fan of horror, but not a huge fan of comedy... and I cannot tell you how many times I laughed out loud during this film.
Price was EXCELLENT imo. This might be his best onscreen performance that I've seen (and that's saying something because I think he was a tremendous actor!). The hairdresser scene made me spew water all over the living room floor!
My favorite line:
"Oh, I wish you'd let me do something camp with the colour, darling. Like flame with ash highlights."
That scene was so bizarre and what many would call a "WTF? Moment" but that's what made it so fun. One of the best parts of the whole movie.
