Colonel Beauregard and his faithful lieutenant the happy slave George

Right before the guys pull off the army rifles rip-off, they're seen at Freeman's apartment playfully reenacting a movie scene where a plantation owner and a dumb slave reunite after the war. Does anybody know whether that dialogue was from an actual movie or play about the postbellum Southern reconstruction? I googled a bit, but couldn't find anythinf with different keyword combinations. For some reason, the names (Beauregard, George) and the dialogue ("I can't pay you; carpetbaggers took over the plantation, which I had to mortgage; I wouldn't know whut to do with no money, massa!") ring a bell. Thanks in advance.

Don't know if it was from an actual movie or not, but it looked like they were just spoofing those old movies with silly slave stereotypes, that's all. It was kind of funny, though.
