Missing ending

I remember in the end of this movie detective Roth standing on a stage yelling SOYLENT GREEN IS PEOPLE just before being shot. Why can't I find this scene and why isn't it in the current version of the movie? I know many people that remember it the same way. Somebody help me out here.

I only know the ending where he yells "Soylent Green is vegan!" Is there a director's cut or something?

Jokes aside, the original poster is misremembering the film. He says that as he's being carried away on a stretcher.
