If they used only younger people to make Soylent Green? Old chicken and cows don't taste as good as young healthy ones.

And could they also have made Soylent Veal, using only babies up to a year old.

Well they used anyone who dies ... That would include the young and even babies.
Just can't imagine that there would be enough deaths daily to feed so many people, if a remake was made I can't imagine they,d go the cannibalism route which wasn't in the original book.
