I had a dish of vegetables, brown rice, and charbroiled tofu a few days ago and the best thing was the veggies.
They have to find a better way to do tofu.
In the BOOK that this movie is BASED on it was a compound word meaning a food product made from soybeans and lentils with some spices and veggies it was basically a veggie burger and I kind of would like to try it. In the BOOK it was never people, the story was different and the world in the book did suck but not quite as badly as the movie.
REAL soylent green would be DELICIOUS and I am not even a vegetarian.

Soylent Green from the book sounds like it might be good, but I think for dramatic reasons having it made out of people makes for a more shocking revelation.
shareHere is a link to the Wikipedia page for the book Make Room! Make Room! from which the film Soylent Green is based. It gives the plot summary so you can see what all was changed from book to screen:
