Tough little noir film;

Holds up-and surprisingly not that sentimental when considering the latter Reynold's roles.

This gives it its staying power-and that Soundtrack-TOO Much;

Burt is perfectly cast as Shamus for a guy who did his own stunts and he has a rugged exterior which dovetails into the character;

Yeah I thought it was very good, easily one of Burt’s better movies.

I wish Burt had stuck to these types of movies for the rest of the 70s.
