shareI AGREE. THE SEVEN-UPS IS A TOTALLY COOL MOVIE. AS A FAN OF THE FRENCH CONNECTION, I THINK THIS IS THE REAL SEQUEL TO IT, NOT THE CRAPPY FCII WHERE DOYLE GOES TO FRANCE. IT WOULD BE GREAT TO SEE IT ON DVD WITH SOME EXTRA. AT LEAST THE TRAILER, I'M DYING TO SEE THAT. I DIDN'T KNOW SONNY GROSSO HAD A BIT PART IN IT, I'M GOING TO HAVE TO GO BACK AND SEE WHERE HE IS IN IT. AND WHAT A GREAT CAR CHASE SCENE!!
shareYeah, a crying shame. Even the 80's laser disc was full frame. Really underrated picture; lean and tough and pulpy in ways even FC isn't.

shareThis movie is the real sequel to the French Connection. It has a decent cast, great acting and one of the best car chase sequences ever filmed!
shareA DVD release is definitely needed. Didn't get as much attention as French Connection, but it has one of the all-time great car chase sequences. Amazon.com has a link where you can be notified of it's DVD release date and by putting your email down you vote on it's release by the studio.
