Soundtrack
I eagerly await the brilliant soundtrack for this film by Jerry Fielding.

Wonder what was deleted?
Anyway, yes, Fielding was a very gifted composer. His career was unfortunately damaged by the McCarthy era. He was blacklisted and spent many years out of Hollywood. Fortunately, he wrote a good minimalist score for The Mechanic and noir-style music for The Big Sleep.
As a side note, I'm amazed that the CIA allowed this film onto their grounds. Besides the anti-CIA tone, Fielding had problems with the U.S. government and writer David Rintles was not granted access to the U.S. because he was a suspected Communist. And there's no way could they have read the script!
I would almost bet this will be released by Intrada Records www.intrada.com by the end of this year.. I could be wrong but Intrada has so far in recent months or more has released a significant amount of Jerry Fielding scores like Chato's Land and the now OOP The Mechanic.
