Blu-ray review for 'Robin Hood: 40th Anniversary Edition'

For the little bit of money that Disney put into the film, it holds its own 40 years later. You won’t confuse it for any of the Disney classics that are as much a part of American mythology as anything else. But the characters are still dynamic and entertaining enough to hold the interests of children of all ages.

Thank goodness it isn't cropped to hell like the DVD version.

I got it for Christmas, and I haven't really seen the entire movie in years. Used to own it on VHS back in the very early 90s. Brought back a lot of memories. The picture is fantastic. When Robin (disguised as a lady) shouts "OODELALLY OODELALLY!" to stop the caravan, I cracked up. Also Robin disguised as a blind beggar going "alms alms for the poor." Me and my friend love that.

Like the proverbial cheese, I stand alone. Even while seated.
