Does anyone own the original 1984 Vhs?
I'm starting to collect tapes from the Walt Disney Classics line. I wondered if any of you have it or know what it's worth. I can't find it on eBay.

shareI used to have, I'll have a dig round my house for it.
shareWell I still have mine that I got in the 80s but I'm not sure it it is the 1984 one or not. Don't know what differences there might be with this one though.
You were fantastic...absolutely fantastic...and d'you know what? So was I.share
Honestly the best place to check would be goodwills and salvation armys. People are converting to DVDs and donating their old vhs's. I have most all of the original Disney's tapes and they are usually one like a buck each, if that
I actually have the original VHS, well 2. Originally, my father bought the film in 1986. I had grown to love the film so much, I worn it out, and had to replace it. I actually found the copy on Amazon if you go to the VHS section of the movies, and then look for the original film in its clamshell edition.
It's not that expensive, and you can choose from used or collectible editions.

Wow, a year later and I finally bought the thing. It was only $10 + $3 shipping and handling.
I finally bought it because the picture showed both the case and the tape of the item. It also mentioned the print date: 10-24-85 (it's a later pressing).
I have it on VHS, though it was bought in the early 90's.
shareI bought the dvd because i wore out the tape
