Similar movie, shown before Star Wars in a drive in (short?)

I havent seen this yet, but don't think it's the long sout movie I've been looking for.

In 1976 (7?), we saw Star Wars at a drive-in in New Jersey. It opened with an animated short. There was a race of giants (space giants?) that had humans as playthings. I distincltly remember they were treated as dolls - there was even a dollhouse scene. I. Think. I don't think it was 75 minutes like FP, and I don't remember the giants being anything other than human like.

Anyone? Anyone? I've been hunting for 40 years and it's KILLING ME!! (Not really, but it is like having something stuck in my teeth for that long...)

I have the exact same question with the exact same scenario (except my drive in was in New Orleans).

My advice is to watch FP and determine if the scene you remember was lifted from this movie and condensed into a film short. My local theater use to do this with long form cartoons like Tom & Jerry and Heckle and Jekyll where they took small snippets from a story and used them as time fillers.
