The ending ? (Spoiler)
I really liked the ending, especially the small shot of the alien space craft (barely visible) superimposed, floating on top of the sun.

Use your head, it's a small blip (not a spacecraft up close). Look again.

Yeah, at the start he mentions "something weird happened" or something to the planet.
