I wonder what happened to the children he fathered

In the book they Natives didn't leave.
Papillon left them after 7 months.
And he got both the girl and her younger sister pregnant, but left before they were born.
Kind of a jerk move.
There are some mini-papis running around in the jungle of Colombia somewhere.

They wouldn't exactly be running around in the jungle now, they'll be in their 80's.

Increasing the local gene pool. Maybe some blue eyed cool descendants still around.
