A Magical Event....

This is the first time I've checked back in to this Message Board since I first posted the first message way back in August of last year, and I wanted to share a pretty spectacular experience I had shortly after that first posting:
I read in a local paper that several of the original cast and crew were going to appear LIVE at the Vista Theatre in Hollywood (Silverlake) for a promotional screening, followed by a Panel discussion/Q&A. I went. It was amazing. Bogdonavich, Tatum, Ryan, the cinematographer Lazlo Kovacks and Polly Platt wer all in attendance. The film print was brand new 70mm from the original negative....crystal clear. I was astonished that the theatre was NOT sold out...there were far too many seats available. I had the great privelege to that each of these people for their contributions to this incredible gem. I can't recall if someone video taped the Panel discussion or not. It would be a shame if they didn't. I'm very grateful for this remarkable and memorable experience, and I hope you have similar or better ones!
