Cars used in Paper Moon?

Hope someone can help me get this right. I know the "second" car used in Paper Moon was a 1936 Ford Convertible. That's the one Moses sneaks off to buy and comes pulling up w/ Trixie, lauging & honking while Addie & Imogene are sitting on the hotel steps waiting. Lots of folks think that car was red, but it was dark green. It's still around and lives locally here in San Diego county (Temecula - perfect area 'weather-wise' to store old cars)and it's body number is 3659 for those hard-core car enthusiasts. But does anyone have ANY info, pics or links regarding the first car? Was it a Model-T or Model-A, or even a Ford at all? I'm guessing it was a Ford as it had a rumble seat in back but I really don't know. When I was a kid (in the late 70's) a teacher let me try to drive an old Ford Model-T truck (at least I think the truck was called Model-T)and all's I recall is it was difficult, something about floor pedals and a lever by the steering wheel - which I think was the throttle - and it was real hard to turn and stop. The event lasted about 2 minutes before I'd had enough.

When I Googled "Paper Moon automobile Ford", most of the results I got pointed to a Ford Model T. Maybe another look at the movie might firmly establish it's identity?

I've been curious about the cars that Moze and Addie traveled in, and was about to post a message concerning it here on IMDb. I'm very glad that you're able to positively identitfy the second car and it's actual color. I've always had the impression that it was painted red.

Thank you, again, and if I can find some positive information on the first vehicle, I'll post it here.

My late sister's middle school yearbook of 1965 still used a photo of the school when it was built in the early 1930's, and, the older Model-T autos in the film looked identical to those parked on the street outside my sister's school when it was built...

As the older female store cashier (the one who sold the hair ribbons) would say:

"It makes me feel older - somehow..."

That's funny, I live about half an hour from Temecula. Small world, I suppose.
