I just bought this film on Amazon "Movies on Demand" section today. I have waited 21 or 22 years to see this movie again; it is fantastic to finally see it! I wanted to let everyone know, in case they wanted to see the movie.
shareWhy is it so many classic movies like this one (and plenty more from the early 70s) have gotten lost? Sure, there are plenty of good movies made today but just because good ones are still being made, why forget so many golden ones? There are LOUSY movies made all the time as well, they NEVER seem to go away. Thanks for this info, even though at this point, it's almost 10 years old!

Turner Classic Movies had this film on this past week while we were away. I recorded on the DVR, and just watched it again for the first time since 1973. It is still just as good now as it was back then. I agree completely with Jime about the plethora of lousy films today.
