Faye Dunway Fan Alert

This is a very entertaining movie

Not a masterpiece but there are many great actors including Jack Palance, George C. Scott & John Mills.

Grand production values. Faye Dunaway was a big star at this time. She & Stanley Kramer didn't waste their time on low-budget art movies.

Is it political reasons this movie is not more well known? I can't understand why not, because it's a fun movie and quite typical of that time period.

Faye is absolutely great as usual. Closer to Bonnie than Diana Christensen ["Network"] & light years from Joan Crawford -- she looks terrific as a brunette Oklahoma cow girl with dust in her boots who runs an oil rig & is handy with a shotgun -- and does it all w/nearly zero makeup.

Hey Gioconda,

She sure did look good when I saw this back in 1973, and she still looks fine to me.

Best wishes,

I just saw this movie on broadcast TV, and every time the camera was on Faye's beautiful face, I couldn't stop staring in awe. What a great beauty, and even better the way she had her hair pinned up to show off that lovely face, no matter that it was at times smudged with dirt.

Her vocal line readings are very good too. She's very funny in this movie, a rarity for her.
