It`s a christianing, not a marriage, they`re Christianing or baptizing a baby, it says God Bless Christopher on the cake, just some locals from around the neighborhood celebrating the baptism or something of the child. And if you watch closely it`s some other woman in the dress, while Charlie and his girlfriend are eating the cake, as in they`re attending, not the ones who are celebrating.
