Remake

I always visualized Lillo Brancato as Johnny Boy and Ralph Macchio as Charlie.

No.

If they did do a remake, who would you pick? I can't visualize anyone but Brancato for Johnny Boy. He reminds me of a young DeNiro. For some reason I can see Machio as Charlie. I don't know why. I can see him as the smarter one trying to explain for Johnny Boy's stupid actions.

Reimaginings, or films loosely inspired by, are preferable to straight up Re-makes.

Besides its too late for Lillo Brancato now. Ironic, how he failed to heed the advice which his character benefited from in A Bronx Tale.

Brancato and Macchio are better suited for a comedy titled "My Cousin's Bronx Tale," featuring a cameo by Joe Pesci.

Hey there, Johnny Boy, I hope you fry!

If Scorsese directed, we all know who'd play Charlie today.
