If you don't like this movie you're a jerkoff!
And probably a mook.

You and your petty little "ripping off asian films" rants. Can't you find something else to complain about for a change?
Go spew your ignorance elsewhere.
Oh, hey Mongolians. So you wanna break down my *beep* wall, eh? Well, Say herro to my little friend!

Anybody who doesn't like this movie isn't a true Scorsese fan.
You CAN be Catholic and Pro-Choice
I consider myself a Scorcese fan, he's easily in my top four directors. I didn't like this movie that much, though. Not bad, but..not very interesting either. No major plot points, little suspence, abrupt ending etc etc...
"I don't care what you believe in, just believe in something ! No matter what..."
I have to agree with you, what might had been startling in 1973 looked rather boring and even silly when I watched it some years later. Of course but that time there were other 'raw' films made.
Its that man again!!

Or you just have your own opinion and don't care if everyone else tells you how good it is, sometimes the Emperor really IS wearing no clothes.
By the way, I get called an a-hole way more than a jerkoff.
Call me what you'd like I still don't like the movie. I suffered through it hoping it might grow on me but it didn't. I think the performances were good and I can see how it might have been avant-garde at the time but if it's the reason a lot more of these types of movies were made, I like it even less.
I can appreciate this movie was Scorsese’s attempt to show the grittier side of life; it was as he, and many others knew it. For me, the life portrayed in the movie is as foreign as living on the moon and, for that, I am immensely grateful.
Woman, man! That's the way it should be Tarzan. [Tarzan and his mate]
