Neighbor Harry building mailbox scene

When Harry dismantles the mailox in his apartment building, a male neighbor shows up to challenge his actions. Has few lines of dialogue. Who plays this acotr? He looks like, and sounds like, he could be Vincent Schiavelli....

good call! I absolutely thought the same thing - although I'm not sure... it's not listed on his imdb profile ..... but yeah, I agree with you completely

That guy kinda reminded me of a real-life version of Ned Flanders. You've got the green sweater, the round glasses, the bushy mustache, and a bit on the nerdy side.

reply

That's not Schiavelli. No idea who it is. Magnum Force was from that era where the credits were kept short and sweet. If they're still kicking, the now 60ish nekkid boy and girl in the Guzman execution scene probably couldn't be more thankful for the anonymity.

"Yes grandson - that's grandma snorting lines of coke with a couple of buck naked weirdos. Ain't ya proud?"

reply

Ned Flanders for sure!

He was very much like Ned Flanders, but I think we were supposed to think he was gay (not that Ned isn't). Okely-dokely!

This was in fact a young Ned Flanders...he had not yet made a name for himself yet...who would have known.

reply

He was very camp. Creepy

Eat the Neocons.

reply

Yeah he was pretty obviously an effeminate gay guy. Surprised his scene isn't cut for political correctness, ha...like the last line in the scene introducing the magnum force, just saw on AMC: 'People say they are queer for each other'

reply

Well the performance had more ham in it than my sandwhich. I guess you caught up with the movie on TCM (shown yesterday) too.

Drew Eshelman.

'Huuutch!' - Starsky

He was based on the famous cartoonist R Crumb. How short our memories are...
