Hey, eduyus.....you're quite the dickbag.

He was allergic to water. So when he touched the water he died right away. That's my theory.

reply

lol yes, I thought all of the cop deaths bar sweet were not very clear. Even Harry's partner- it would have been nice to have some clarification.

reply

It was clear, at the end the first one was ran over by Harry's car, the second was beat to death by Harry in the dark room of the aircraft carrier and the third died from the fall into the water.

reply

But as the poster pointed at the fall was not enough to kill in real life. I appreciate how they were intended to be shown killed, but it was not really very well filmed. Compared to even Eastwood's own direction it is very noticeably lacking in clarity.

reply

If he breaks his neck by the sudden stopping of his bike and the violence of the fall of course this fall could be deadly. Action movie has used modern audience to ways of dying so flashy and flamboyant that they think a simple one like this is unbelievable.

reply

I understand, it's just the series is not well known for it's subtlety or for being understated.

reply

50 feet, hits the water, knocked unconscious, face down and drowns. Not so far fetched.

reply

But how do you know it was a 50 ft drop? It didn't seem to be that high to me, but even if it was, most people can survive a 50 ft fall into water feet first and be relatively uninjured. But it's just a movie, so let's just go with your theory. Whatever works. Either way, I still greatly enjoyed the movie, having just seen it the other day. I saw Dirty Harry a few years ago, but just now finally getting to the sequels.

This Paint By Numbers life is *beep* with my head once again.

reply

Sloppy editing - Harry had yelled "Pull!" and shot him skeet-style before he hit the water.
