Lost Horizon Observations

I remember reading Lost Horizon as a kid and I recall an earlier version that was an
action-adventure movie. This is more like a Bollywood film since people unexpectedly
start singing and dancing. I love Burt Bacharach pop songs so I decided to watch the rest
after the first song and dance number.

Sally Kellerman always had a nice smoky voice and I actually liked her singing. Most of the
people in the film were actors so I think they should have hired more singers who could act.
My top three songs were The World is a Circle, Things I will not miss and Living Together.

While they were both great actors, it was weird seeing a 56-year-old Peter Finch playing 31-year-old Michael York's brother. The sets were really beautiful and the cast was great. It's a classic story that has been revamped with catchy song-and-dance numbers.

I just noticed this on Amazon Prime.
At first I assumed it was going to be the original version,
then I noticed it was color and Ronald Colman was nowhere to be found.
