Lost Horizon

You Know movies are just that movies ever need to keep that in mind when they
post. I mean i feel sorry for that view a movie just to watch for what they see is not right with film. Just watch the movie we do not to point out ever little thing wrong in the film. This like watching how the film was made before you go see the movie. movie are for geting away from the real world for a while

I totally agree. :)

I purchased an overseas DVD of the 1973 Lost Horizon two years ago and have corresponded with several other buyers, each spotlighting one or more flaws in the production/script. I asked them each the same: It takes just as much energy to be positive as it does to be negative, so why not be positive? For the era this movie was remade, the casting was great, the musical score was awesome, and for that era, the cinematography was unsurpassed, without contestation. The idea was to portray Heaven on Earth, and boy did the producers succeed!

I can say with certainty the movie would be a hit as a Saturday or Sunday afternoon network TV movie, given it's clean, family-oriented, moral nature. If I'm not mistaken, the movie did have a "G" rating in the theaters.

Overall, my fellow purchasers and I had recaptured what we all considered to be a hard to find, very valuable piece of our youth, for a very reasonable price. It was not hard at all to sway them to the positive side of the fence.
