'I Don't Understand it, I don't understand it at all'

Every aspect of this film is magnificent, stands up with the great noirs of the past. Loved the guard at the Malibu gate doing his old Hollywood schtick. His Barbara Stanwyck serves as a great guide for the movie and anyone who gets confused in the convoluted plot.

"I don't understand. I don't understand it at all. I've never understood it, Walter. I just don't understand why I don't understand it at all. I don't -"

Then Terry Lennox's reply,

"Okay, just remember that and you'll be alright."

And you will.

If you enjoy Raymond Chandler and wisecracking detectives may i recommend Kinky Friedman, his first novel, 'Greenwich Killing Time'. He smokes cigars non-stop and he even has a cat.

"I'd sell your heart to the junkman baby
For a buck, for a buck"
