I'm a huge fan of "The Long Goodbye." Elliott Gould is terrific in it, with fine support from Sterling Hayden, Nina Van Pallandt and Mark Rydell. The ending is truly shocking, too. The cinematography is strikingly beautiful and I loved all the variations on the main theme featured throughout the movie.
