Maybe I missed something, but how did they get the money back towards the end? One second they were going to knife him for not telling them where the money was, the next they had it. I doubt Terry Lennox just sent it back. Did Mrs. Wade give it to them?
I haven't read the book and I can't recall it ever being stated in the movie. Did I miss something?

There is no Marty Augustin in the book. Therefore there is also no money that was given back. As far as I remember Eileen Wade killed Sylvia Lennox in the book.

That's correct. Lennox said that he gave the money back because Augustin was not searching for him anymore + he said Eileen Wade has more money than Sylvia and Augustin together - which by the way is not very plausible.
