Can anyone tell me what that game is where Marlowe and Terry Lennox read the numbers from dollar bills. Maybe it's common in America, but I'm English and don't know.By the way, this is Altman's second best movie(after Nashville),and Gould's joint best (with California Split). Wonderful.

It's called liar's poker. You're betting using the serial number on your bill and the serial number on the other bills. You can find a detailed explanation of liar's poker on Wikipedia.
