I guess because of the naked neighbours (what a great addition though)

Your favorite movie sucks.
Haven't seen it in years but at one point did the gangster not instruct one of his goons to cut Marlowe's dick off? Might have been considered pretty strong in 1973.

If this film was made exactly shot per shot today it would be at least in American be rated R for language, nudity, and brief violence.
