It's being reported that a sequel is in the works with Bryan Cranston, Steve Carell, and Laurence Fishburne.
I like Cranston, Carell, and Fishburne but I cant see any of them picking up where Jack Nicholson, Randy Quaid, and Otis Young left off.
Not even close.
Yeah. The last detail has grown into everyone's hears. After all these years, it would be difficult to imagine other actors playing those parts.
However it is definitely interesting casting. And it would be more like a spiritual sequel taking place in different era. Plus with Linklater directing, I have hopes with that film
I believe all 3 of the major players are still alive --- Haveing them have somesort of reunion would be cool --- 50 years later by my post
