Remake?

Anyone notice another movie by this name is being made this year?

Is it a remake??

reply

Looks like thankfully this thing might never get produced.

Check the thread "No mon, they go-in to ruin this one too, ya know." on this board.

To each his own cobram. This is my culture thus I'll beg to differ, it's a classic.

reply

It's a classic?? It hasn't (and hopefully NEVER) will be made.

of all the boards on remakes on this website i have never been as disgusted as the thought of remaking the harder they come.

*beep* hollywood

dido couldnt have said it better

To remake this film would be a tragedy. Look how Hollywood screwed up The Ring and Darkwater and The Italian Job to mention a few. Cult films need to be left in their original state and overshadowed by a poor duplicate just to cashed in on nostalgic remnants.

The idea behind the purpose of paranthesis is to contain material that could be omitted without altering the meaning of a sentence. So if the parenthesis were to be removed the sentence would still make sense. So what does, "It hasn't will be made." mean?

Or they could be used to interject text within other text. I use them mainly to find the anal retentives who come onto movie bulletin boards to correct Mickey Mouse grammer mistakes.
It's especially ironic when you consider the movie being discussed here, and starts their sentence "The idea behind the purpose."

I will triple check my grammar in the future, especially on boardzz lik dis.

reply

He is right, though. You effectively said 'It hasn't will be made.' Also, I don't think you know what 'interject' means.

with all the remakes of this moment its only a matter of times before they remake this one as well

they tried this before...they wanted to do an (unofficial) sequel starring wyclef jean and lauren hill in the mid/late 90s...perry henzell was quoted as saying he would sue if they made anything resembling his film

reply

no no no no no no no remake

reply

Remaking the Harder they Come would be equally as stupid as remaking The Godfather...it just wouldn't make any sense.

If it ain't broke...don't *beep* fix it.

Im going to the musical later this month.

If they base any remake off the musical, then im okay with it.

But to remake the original film, then no.

I notice that Imdb.com put up a Board of a Film of the same title. I saw it say "They Harder they Come" (2012).
